The Guggenheim and You Tube
It's a great time for short film and video! The Guggenheim recently announced its newest venture, YouTube Play: A Biennial of Creative Video.

"YouTube Play hopes to attract innovative, original, and surprising videos from around the world, regardless of genre, technique, background, or budget. This global online initiative is not a search for what's "now," but a search for what's next."Submissions must be less than 10 minutes long. A panel will select up to 20 videos to play in October at Guggenheim's New York Berlin, Bilbao and Venice Museums.
